1973 Ford E-Series Van Description

lets try this aagain
this here grooovy ol van is gonna need somelovin to hit the open road again...
It does not start, it does turn over, but, the timing chain skipped or something. Thisgeneration of 302s have plastic impregnated gears, so after time, the plastic gets brittle and the chain jumps a tooth; Ive done the project butI'm not getting into it on this one or Ill end up restoring the whole thing !
Everything is there, all original, and had some work donebefore the engine issue. Has new tires, fuel filler lines, tune up stuff, other misc. Brakes, battery, coolant system and everything else is good.
It has AC ! =), but, needs to be hooked back up. 3 speed manual trans, no power options.
There is rust, only on the rain gutter in the back. Will need some work to make solid and pretty again. There are two dent like damaged spots, rear wheel wheels, see pics. Other than that, a straight and solid body.
If that timing/engine issue was repaired and the original shagginwagon interior / seats werefreshen up, this could be a low buck adventure van.
For those inquiring of the interior: it is shot, carpet and wood paneling from 73, two captains chairs that would be easier and cheaper replaced than reupholstered. The dash and steering wheel are original, the dash is in good condition with no additional holes or cuts.
I build and restore, and have a few of these.Ifyou'd like it fixed, restored, or modified Id be happy to explore the project with you. I also have many parts for these, your welcome to buy or inquire.
Willing to ship, transport or deliver almost anywhere. Its in San Diego and has been here since new. Ireceivedthe original title when I bought it.
