1970 Ford Mustang Description

Up for bid is a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang. I bought this years ago with the intention of restoring it in the future, but since then I sold the race car, and decided to buy one already done to fill the gap. (don't want to be without something drivable) At first glance it looks a little rough, I've looked at a bunch of Mustang fastbacks, and either they were very nice (very expensive) or the whole bottom of the car was in need of replacement. I can't tell you how many I looked at that needed frame rails, torque boxes, shock towers,etc. etc. Look at the pictures, they show the good and bad. Let's start with the good- the frame rails, trunk area, shock towers and aprons in front of the shock towers are nice, as are the rocker panels. The bad- the splash aprons behind the shock towers need replaced (not from rust - they were removed for headers. the car was originally from Texas, the seam sealer in the driprails dried out and cracked. water got in and rusted the roof panel. the inside floor from the toe board to the rear seat needs replaced.One torque box has rust on the bottom, but a very easy repair, the trunklid and driver's door are junk. the fenders are repairable (depending on your ability) I have a Marti report that goes with the car, I can only post 24 pictures so no room to include it.it says it is a yellow 1970 Mach1 351C 4V automatic, air conditioned, black interior power disc brakes, (has drums on it now-not sure why) 3.00 rear axle ratio, power steering, sold in Dallas Texas area(district sales office) The beauty of these cars is all the sheet metal needed is all available aftermarket. I would very much like it if you would please come look before buying.
