We buy every one like this we can find due to the versatility and overall usefulness. This particular one is in great condition, freshly serviced and inspected and ready for a new assignment! We have decided to use a buy-it-now/best offer sale, and have set a very reasonable price, so don't wait too long or it will be gone.....you won't find another one like it. Now for a few details. To the best of our knowledge, this truck has had only one previous owner since new out of Maryland. It was leased and serviced through Penske, and when given the chance to purchase a truck like this we stepped right up. It is very rare to find a 3/4 ton 2500 on an extended wheelbase, let alone one in good condition. It would be the perfect size for all you plumbers, electricians, carpenters, flooring installers, mechanical contractors, delivery companies, and on and on. It has room for all your "stuff", is easy to maneuver in and out of job sites, and drives great down the road. With only 133k miles, this workhorse G2500 is just starting to be broken in. It comes with the the 4.8L Vortec V8 that is virtually bulletproof and can handle just about anything. With proper care and maintenance, it will likely run for years to come with little or no hassle. Honestly, where else can you find an G2500 Van on an extended wheelbase being sold with no reserve at absolute auction?? There is lots of room in the rear cargo area, and it's just waiting for your racks, bins, shelves, or whatever else you need for your specific use. The previous owner appears to have used it to haul cargo, so you get a blank slate to modify however you wish. There are rub rails down the sides to make it a cinch to attach shelves, bins, racks or whatever else you need. The new owner will get a great cargo van for a great price.....you will save a bunch of money buying here. The first owner has paid all of the initial depreciation hit, so you have the opportunity to make a great buy on a great truck. This truck will likely be sold for thousands of dollars less than at your local dealer, and I'll bet he doesn't have one like this. This is the right truck with the right specs and the right miles. If you've been paying attention to the used truck market, then you know prices are through the roof. Everyone wants one like this and there aren't many good ones available for sale. Now for the condition report. The exterior and interior are in very nice condition. The body looks great with no major damage, but there are some normal marks and chips from regular use. Remember this is a work truck so don't expect a showroom new vehicle.....it has been used for work as it was designed. It's not fancy, and has been used for 133k miles, but we think it's well above average and very clean. Inside, the Gray seats are in great shape with no holes, tears or other issues. It is easy to tell that it has not been abused or overworked and obviously well serviced. All of the interior features function normally and we can find no mechanical or drivability issues, but keep in mind that you are buying it completely AS-IS like we sell all our trucks. It just had a full PM service and we also had a fresh PA State Safety Inspection done. You don't have to waste any time on reconditioning or service because everything appears to be up-to-date. It is sitting on matching Firestone tires size 245/75 R-16 tires that are BRAND NEW on all 4 corners. Listen folks, you will have a hard time finding a higher quality used truck anywhere being sold for less than this. Somebody is going to get a great deal on this truck!! We require a 10% deposit within 3 days of the close of the auction and full payment must be received within 10 days of the close of the auction. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE - If you don't complete the sale, your deposit will not be returned. We accept Certified/Cashiers Checks, Bank Checks or Wire Transfers unless other arrangements are made in advance.
We will be happy to provide transportation from the airport or train station in Harrisburg if you provide us with your schedule.
Buyer is responsible for shipping however we will gladly help with the logistics.
We charge a $150.00 fee to all buyers ($50 doc fee and $100 processing fee). PA residents must pay sales tax and state registration fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, and local taxes and fees that may apply in the state the vehicle will be registered, however we will provide a 30-day temporary tag with proof of insurance from your agent or insurance company.
Part of our qualification process is test driving our vehicles. Therefore, this vehicle may have a few more miles than we list above. We try to keep it within 100-200 miles of the number shown above.
