64 1964 gmc 1000 chevy c10 custom 65 66 short bed patina Chevrolet ARIZONA solid
1964 GMC 1000 fleetside Description
For auction is a 1964 GMC 1000(gmc version of the c10). Factory short bed, fleet side with brand new oak wood installed in the bed. Chevy 283 v8 4 barrel holley powered backed by a TH400 automatic trans and factory rearend(don't know the ratio)(see pics). Has optima battery, custom stock appearing 4 core radiator, headers, and dual exhaust. Has the VERY rare and in pretty good driver shape factory chrome grille(these were never reproduced and worth BIG $$) Exterior was so solid that I decided to leave it bare metal and clear coat it and put a blue tint in the clear just to prove how solid the body really is without anything hidden under paint and give it kind of a patina/ratrod look(see pics). Pretty sure this has been an Arizona truck its entire life. Drive it to several local cruise-ins and people flock to it. Has rally wheels 15x7 front and 15x8 rear and a roll pan installed in place of the rear bumper. The interior has new custom leather bucket seats and flip down console/center seat installed. Aftermarket seat belts as truck never had any factory belts, Custom dash with factory speedo and tach.(tach isn't hooked up), new carpet, cd player with remote(not hooked up yet), B&M shifter, and more. The speedometer currently doesn't work(plastic gears inside trans aren't meshing together, realized after I installed a new cable), and neither does the fuel gauge(I'm assuming its a ground wire somewhere as it has a new sending unit installed in the factory tank) both should be easy fixes.
Also have spare tire holder and factory heater box that will go with the truck when sold. Truck is for sale locally so reserve the right to end auction early unless a bid is made first.
Contact me for pickup arrangements. I work a long hours but will be available every other weekend and a couple business days every week.
Awesome fun truck to cruise in the way it is or invest a little more into a modern engine, suspension, and paint it will easily be a $35-$40k truck!
