Up for your consideration is a very clean 2016 Yukon Denali. It was purchased new in November of 2015 by a local couple and they traded it for Yukon XL. I then purchased this Denali to make a few summer trips and to tow behind some new motorhomes I had to pickup this summer. I own a small motorhome dealership in Texas and have used my dealer license plate(it is in my inventory as my dealership). The idea was to see if my wife would drive a smaller SUV as she is accustomed to driving a large diesel SUV(Ford Excursion). We both enjoyed this Denali, however she has now commandeered my diesel pickup and I have a few Jeeps that we can pull behind a motorhome. Oddly enough, I build this Yukon to pull behind a motorhome, but it has only been pulled 5 miles from my dealership to my office. We have traveled about 7,000 miles in it and have taken one 3,500 miles trip in it.
There is nothing wrong with this Denali, I was hoping that my wife would like it and I knew that this would be great to tow behind a motorhome. We now have 3 other neighbors with Yukon Denalis and she prefers to stand out. The tow brackets are Blue Ox and can be seen coming through the lower front bumper. If you are not wanting the tow brackets and wanting a new front bumper, you are on your own....I am not in the body shop business. We can remove the brackets but you will be left with some holes to contend with. The Blue Ox tow bar itself is available and I am happy to work something out if you wish to include the tow bar itself. The rear tail lights have been wired into a trailer plug that is behind the front license plate. 2015 was the first year you could safely flat tow a Denali or Escalade as they are now available as 4x4 and not AWD.
I can tell you that we are very clean people and hand wash out vehicles every week. It has not been smoked in and there are NO funky smells and no signs of unruly children. I have inspected this SUV top to bottom, it has not been wrecked or damaged in any way. The other disappointment is a small ding in the right front wheel. We have both keys, the original owners manuals, and the DVD remote as well as the headphone(box under owners manuals in pics). The original owners were not quite as picky as we are, so it took a few good cleanings to get it to our standards. Additionally we had a few small dents repaired using paintless dent repair. We added all of the Weathertech Floor liners and will be included in the sale($450 worth).
With the exception of 22in wheels, this Denali should have everything GM offered. 2016 was the first year GM offered a truly adaptive cruise, it will actually apply braking if you run up on a vehicle in the slow lane. Another cool feature is that it will keep you in your lane, so if you start to veer off, it will steer you in the opposite direction. We hope GM will offer a Denali or Suburban in a 3/4 ton diesel some day. Although we haven't towed anything, I can tell you this 6.2 liter motor will run circles around the 5.3 GM puts in the regular Yukons, Tahoes, and Suburbans. My neighbor uses his Denali to tow his 8,000lb boat, it performs great.
