1997 GMC Sierra 3500 Description

This is a 1997 GMC Sierra 3500 dually 4 wheel drive with the SLE trim. This has a 350 V8 gas engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. I have owned this truck for about 12 years and have used it primarily for long distance trips, several times a year. Mostly I towed a travel trailer or boat for family vacation trips and mostly 3000+ miles each time. Because of that, there are mirror extensions installed, which are removable. This truck is very dependable and runs great. I always made sure this truck had regular maintenance checks. The oil changes were done faithfully every 3000 to 4000 miles. Everything works as it should – A/C, cruise, tilt wheel, power windows, power mirrors and locks, etc. The frame is in great shape and there is no rust on the body. The cap was painted to match the truck and the locks on the cap work. The bed is also in great shape with no rust. I have that lined with plywood and carpeting for hauling suitcases and other items.
