1995 GMC Yukon Description

This 1995 Yukon is a one owner vehicle, always garaged in Nevada, Arizona and Colorado. I am ASE certified and GM factory trained. I have performed the majority of maintenance on this Yukon and use mostly GM parts. This Yukon looks stock and is basically stock with a few improvements. The original factory service manuals are included with this vehicle. The owners manuals, original sales brochures and maintenance log are also included. There are two functioning remotes and extra keys.
One of the improvements is daytime running lights. After I retired I decided to improve the performance of the dependable TBI 350 engine. At about 40,000 miles I installed a new cam similar to Chevy's 300 HP "929" camshaft. I also preformed a little head work so the engine could breathe a little better. My goal was to improve the torque from off idle to 4,000 RPM when the 4L60E automatic transmission shifts at w.o.t.. I estimate a gain of 15 to 20 percent more torque in the normal operating ranges and better passing power. This was accomplished using the stock GM computer chip. This is not a hot rod, but it has all around improved driveability. On open road driving with a steady foot we can average 17 to 18 miles per gallon. It has never had any problem passing state emission tests. On the vehicle is a better flowing air silencer but the original unit is included. There is a quiet cat back exhaust system. Also, there are some spare parts included for this vehicle.
The Yukon has never been in an accident. The body is all original and rust free. In the photos of the undercarriage you may see surface rust on some bare metal parts. If you look close you will see that the floor pans are like new.
At the beginning of this year I checked and serviced the entire vehicle. Everything is functioning to factory spec's or better. It is ready for us to take on vacation this summer or for someone to drive it across the country to a new home. Remember it is not a brand new SUV but an older, well maintained SUV. It does not drip fluids on the garage floor. The only short coming I see is the Michelin tires are showing some wear. The front tires are down to about 1/3 of their life. If I kept this SUV I would replace the rear tires this coming winter. If you live in a area with heavy winter snows or drive unpaved roads you may want to start with a fresh set of all season tires for winter.
The interior is neat and clean. A few years ago I recovered the front bucket seat bottoms with original pattern leather covers and added a little extra foam. This SUV is from a smoke free environment. The mini beige cup holder/console is also included with this vehicle. The only item that is lacking inside is a CD player. There is a space in the dash below the radio for the CD player if you want to keep it all stock.
For the offroaders this SUV has the 30 gallon gas tank, skid plates and trailer tow package. You can see all of the options on the window sticker photos. This Yukon was well optioned.

The roof rack is missing the rear cross bar and the black rubber rail cover on the passenger side. I have just located and purchased a brand new GM passenger side roof rail with the black rubber cap. This new roof rail and cap will be included with the Yukon. In the past we did not use the roof rack so I did not replace these items. If you plan to use the roof rack you may find the rear cross bar on eBay. There are a few very small rock chips in the paint. There are a few minor door dings but they will not show up with a camera. The overall outside condition of the paint and bright trim is excellent, especially for its age. Most everyone thinks it is many years newer than 1995.
The following photos will show the overall excellent condition of this Yukon. In the two photos of the open rear doors the sun is reflecting in the glass. In other photos you will not see this. The rear glass is the original factory tinted glass; there is not any film on the inside of the rear doors glass. Everything in the photos that is directly related to this Yukon is what you are bidding on. The only exceptions are the garage door opener, our sun glasses cases or any other personal items. If there are any questions be sure to ask.
This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied. I have tried to describe and photograph this vehicle to the best of my ability. Remember that this is not a like new vehicle but a well cared for and well maintained older SUV. Please view and read this listing thoroughly before bidding.
