1996 GMC Yukon GT Description

This is a nice 4wd Yukon GT 2 DR. It is a salvage title from having to replace the frame. I bought this earlier in the year from a friend that knows the history on it. It was a California truck and was hit in the front side. It bent the frame. The particular insurance company did not replace frames at the time so it was determined to be a total loss and retained by the owner. They put another frame under it and fixed the other minor damage. There is very little rust on the rear end and onsome of the components but I don't see any on the frame or the body at all. This was a toy for me and it's time to sell it along with my 91 Camaro. Since I bought it, I went through and reconditioned as much as I could. I replaced all fluids with synthetics including both differentials, transfer case, trans service, power steering, brake fluid and engine oil. I charged the A/C which blows cold, put new brakes on with upgraded front powder coated calipers and slotted / drilled rotors, heavy duty brake shoes, new steering gear, NGK plugs,AC Delcocap rotor and wires, fuel filter, wipers, front and rear lenses, nerf bars, new Kumho AT tires 285/65/18 with GMC take off wheels and installed a Rough Country 3" lift kit. I have put less than a thousand miles on it since doing everything to it. It drives straight with no check engine or ABS lights on. The only thing not working is the cruise control which I have not tried to diagnose. I do not see any leaks underneath other than normal seepage. I'm not noticing any dripping. I would trust this truck to go anywhere! It stops and steers better than they do from factorywth the upgrades I installed. The paint is probably a 7 out of a 10 conservatively for a 20 year old truck. It's not show quality but I think it's really nice for a daily driver. Mechanically it is great. I can't think of anything else I would do there. Cosmetically I would put new floor mats in and possible clean or replace the carpet since it is cheap to do. I don't think I would take any less than the starting bid. I will keep if for any less since these are hard to find without being rusted out or needed a bunch.
