2004 GMC Sierra SLT 1500 4WD Extended cab Z71

Very nice & very clean 04 GMC Sierra 4wd Z71. Very solid southern truck. Truck rides & drives excellent. I purchased it from the 2nd owner who had owned it since 2007 when it had 20k miles. Truck now has 142k miles. Carfax report is clean & I have all the original manuals & original window sticker. EXTERIOR-

Original Marine Blue Metallic paint. Paint is in great shape but not perfect, it’s original & 13 years old. I had the front valance repainted due to 13 years worth of bug/road rash. Steel Cowl Induction hood that has been on it since at least 2007. Previous owner had installed a billet grill & I installed a new OE style grill. New front head & parking lights as well as new fog lights. Original paint truck so what you see is what you get. No way to hide anything with original paint. Bed has a spray in bed liner & it is in excellent shape.

INTERIOR-

Original Pewter Gray leather in excellent shape. I replaced the driver seat bottom foam & leather. I also replaced both armrest covers on the front seats. Carpet is original & nice. Dash has no cracks. Original stereo works great. Headliner is new. Instrument cluster was rebuilt less than 300 miles ago with all new stepper motors. All interior & dash lights work as they should & the steering wheels controls still light up & work.

DRIVETRAIN-

5.3 Vortec motor runs very strong. 4wd works fine. All the following work has been done in the last 4 to 5 months & less than 500 miles ago.

-Transmission rebuilt

-Front end rebuilt with new inner outer tie rods, new hub bearings, new upper ball joints (actually replaced the entire upper control arms) & idler arm w/idler arm bracket

New battery 09/16

Previous owner had the rear differential rebuilt July 2015 when the truck had 135k miles on it (I have the receipt). K&N in box filter. Flowmaster muffler installed by the previous owner & I had new dual tailpipes installed with stainless tips. I installed a set of 2010 OEM 18 inch Sierra wheels with Bridgestone tires. Tires have well over half tread left & ride great.

KNOWN ISSUES-

Driver side heated seats doesn’t always work, common issue on these trucks. It turns on & heat up but then shuts off after a few minutes. Passenger seat seems to work fine. Leather wrapped steering wheel has a worn spot on the top. Has a new wheel cover now. Truck has a rust bubble, about the size of a quarter on the right rear extended cab portion of rocker. Right rear of rear bumper has some rust. Other than that it is rust free. Just being honest & that does not mean it is eat up like most of these trucks are. I’m no expert but I am fluent.

OTHER-

Truck is not new. It is 13 years old, but I would say it is as nice as any 2004 model for sale. Runs & drives great & all power options work.Truck pulls strong & would be a great candidate for a lift & bigger tires with the factory 4.10 gears. I bought the truck with the intentions of lifting it & driving it. Cannot bring myself to give up my Jeep though so I’m selling the truck. Too many toys & not enough room. NADA shows $12075 retail value with miles & not figuring options. My reserve is well below that.
