1996 GMC Suburban K2500

I’m selling this 1996 GMC Suburban K2500!I purchased it intending to resolve some mechanical issues and keep it for a daily driver.However, things change and I now have to sell this one.

This is a 1996 with miles consistent with the region (198,562), but the running gear is in really decent shape.(The vehicle could use another good cleaning, but I need to get it up for sale!)The 5.7 Vortec engine runs excellent and I suspect it is a replacement, lower mileage engine.The 4L80E transmission was pulled and completely, professionally rebuilt.It was put back together with a new filter and new fluid.These are new tires and the brakes are also in very good condition.

Since buying the vehicle the following items have been repaired or replaced:

Transmission was professionally rebuilt

Battery replaced

Front door pins (driver’s door)

Driver’s side rearview mirror

Remote mirror control switch

Hood release

HVAC control module

Blower motor relay

Blower motor resistor

Park brake handle

4 Wheel Drive switch

Rear cargo hatch switch wire (was damaged, so it has been repaired)

New tires

Some other services performed – oil and filter, fuel filter, fluid change in differentials, fluid change for the transfer case, brake fluid service, brake pads were checked, rotors checked

As you can see from the pictures, this vehicle is in very good condition and has front and rear air conditioning.It is missing the 3rd-row seat and the back carpet section. All lights (headlights, parking, and turn) work.The interior lights, window switches, HVAC system, and fans and controls also work.The tires were mismatched and replaced with brand new tires.The Suburban doesn’t have a lot of body damage and it certainly isn’t beat up like so many of them are.But, as can be seen in the pictures, there are some dings in the body and the paint is not perfect.Overall the body is in decent condition.

The price has been reduced to cover the cost of a good cleaning and detailing.
