1989 GMC Sierra 1500 Sierra Description

1989 GMC stepside 4x4 Sierra 1500 series. A real classic. I picked up this truck from a local shop which had performed work on it and ended up owning it. They never got a title from the previous owner. I was going to file a mechanics lien on it to get a title but honestly, I have a few years on me and I don't need a jacked up, stacked up, amped up pick up to drive. Plus it's a little loud and high for my taste. So, truck is being offered for sale. It comes without a title. I know there are creative ways to gain the right to tag this vehicle. However, I am going to leave that up to the next owner. So, for the purpose of this auction we will say this truck is being sold for parts, bid accordingly. About the truck...Has newer jasper replacement Engine and a rebuilt 4speed automatic transmission that shifts crisp. I never received any paper work for the upgraded power plant. Truck has a quality lift kit installed. Also has dual exhaust that have a nice deep sound. 4x4 works well. Truck has been repainted and paint has imperfections but presents well. Super Swamper 35x14.50R18LT IROK tires which still have some life and miles left. MSP ignition. Truck appears to have Stainless Headers. Trail FX Diamond Plate cross over box with key, sliding back window. Power windows and locks. Bed floor has normal scratching but not all dented up. Flip down/ Flip up center console for extra seating. Hitch with trailer lead. Numerous upgrades and a lot of money has been invested in this GMC. It's a pretty nice truck that presents well however, expect imperfections. Including but not limited to.. passenger visor does not stay up, seats have burn marks and would be well served by seat covers. Also, Tach appears to not be hooked up, carpet shows dirt and wear. Engine starts right up and transmission shifts crisp however, under heavy acceleration there is a miss. Could just need tune up as has been sitting. Comes with key however, it is not needed to start truck. Truck fires right up and is very drivable. However, we ask that the winning bidder plan to haul this GMC from our farm to its destination.
