1992 GMC Typhoon Description

This Typhoon I have had for a couple years and it has seen a few improvements. The drivetrain is mostly stock and the paint is original. Modifications done to the motor are; new MSD distributor, cold air intake, and a flowmaster 3in catback exhaust system. The crossover pipe and the turbo downpipe have been wrapped with header wrap. As far as a paint goes, it is original and does require maintenance every now and then. I do not recommend automatic car washes. The paint accepts wax with ease and once finished, you have a mirror finish that the high gloss paint had back in 1992! I've been questioned on the paint and hardly anyone believes it's originality. The motor pulls very strong, and the AWD makes for some very exciting launches. This vehicle has never been driven in the snow and has very rarely seen rain. It has never been used as a daily driver, only seasonal driving here. I have a lift at my house which has made cleaning underneath the car very easy, so I have done it often. You'll notice in the pictures that the passenger fog light is missing, I have it and will install prior to sale. The suspension and steering have received some much needed replacement parts. The shocks have been swapped over to Bilstein sport shocks, the CV axles have been replaced as the boots were torn, and the idler arm and pitman arm have been replaced as well as the steering rag joint. These parts have made the vehicle very responsive and exciting to take down twisty back roads. A rear sway bar has been added for additional rigidity, and all of the bushings have been upgraded to energy suspension polyurethane bushings. I have the owners manual, as well as some dealer information about the typhoon that I would take to shows. I have all documentation for everything I've ever done to it stored away. Thanks for looking!
