1979 GMC Sierra 1500 Description

This one is powered by a V8 350 backed by a 4 speed manual transmission.It runs real good and the clutch feels fine.It does not smoke or leak. It has the typical upgrades like a aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb and air cleaner.It has Hedman headers with dual exhaust.The battery and starter are new, and it has been freshly serviced with oil change and both differentials were done also.I was told the gears are a 3.56 ratio to run the 38 inch tires.It uses Warn lockout hubs.It also has power steering and power brakes.The vintage aluminum wheels are in nice shape and it has one new Super Swamper and the others will eventually need to be replaced.It has a nice stance and also brand new Rancho suspension installed.All the lights work and it has new taillight,parking and turn signal lenses also.The body is real clean and straight and in pretty nice shape overall for being 38 years old! The paint holds a nice shine and the multi-color stripes are painted on.The frame and floors are rustfree! The heavy-duty rear bumper makes the truck look tough! It has a sliding rear window and Bully side steps also.The interior is very clean and the cloth bench seat looks good. It has brand new door panels and arm rests installed.The sun visors are nice and the dash pad has the typical cracks. All the glass is clean and damage free.All the gauges work except for the speedometer and tachometer.It has a new Pioneer AM/FM CD stereo with Pioneer speakers installed also.Pretty cool looking truck overall!
