1999 GMC Sierra 1500 Description

I am selling this truck because I have already purchased a 2500 to tow a camper. This truck is very clean and well maintained. All ball joints, idler arms and tie rods as well as tires were replaced 4 years ago. Receipts available. SLT package includes cruise, air, tape player, leather, & antilock brakes. I have unhooked the antilock as they never did work properly even though I installed new speed sensors when they started acting up. Brakes are excellent and I have checked lines and maintained regularly. Cruise works great and air is very cold, leather is in excellent shape for age except for bottom half of driver's seat which I have covered. Carpet is excellent and clean. Bed has and has had a liner since new and is as new. Mobile I synthetic oil used regularly every 3000 miles with new high grade filter. K&N air filter. Kelly's B/B lists as $5300. I purchased new and still have the window sticker. Oxygen sensors have been replaced twice but still have check engine light for them so I simply covered check engine light several years ago. EPA accessories were a real pain back then as they were unproven at the time. Rocker panels and wheel wells were areas of rust on these models. I have maintained rockers with welded metal each year they started giving me trouble. Wheel wells are still excellent because this truck has been kept under garage or barn for its entire life.
