1965 GMC 1000 short bed truck Description

Hey folks, my home car collection is exceeding the available spaces and Ms Gina has to go!

1965 GMC short bed truck, original black plate, California truck, with newer 327 GM motor V8 and automatic transmission, beautiful Patina sprayed with flat clear coat (front bumper is painted clean white) drum braks, lowered on springs

most of the work was done by the previous owner and not being a mechanic, I do not know some of the specifics, I have had the truck for about 2 years and we have enjoyed many trips to the beach and car shows and she gets plenty of attention everywhere we go

clean grey interior with nice mint/turquoise paint, gauges work, original radio with new pioneer CD/Radio and Bluetooth set up in dash (handsfree phone set up)

white wall tires with good thread, no major rust, all patina, sounds good, drives well,

brand new edelbrock carb, new dual exhaust, cool trick shifter that looks like manual,

truck was lowered with springs, bed was redone and sealed,

I had the gauges and electronics redone, gas tank cleaned out and new sending unit placed, put in a new carb and filter and tuned her up, painted the front bumper and added the hood ornament and have all the paperwork, everything else was done by the previous owner.

Car has a clean California titles, pink in my name in hand, (this, I have learned the hard way, is very important!)

Some issues: Driver side window does not roll up smoothly, it needs a little help, it still goes up and down, just not as smooth as passenger side; there is some engine oil leak, I think from the rear main seal, my mechanic said it is not much to do anything about, it spots my driveway but I have not needed to add oil (I change the oil every 3-4 months or so as I definitely don’t drive it 3000miles!) and speedo is off, I tried to have it fixed but if you are going about 60, it shows, 80; I usually drive by feel and go on the freeway and keep up with no issues; due to this, the mileage is obviously off,
