This is a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD, crew cab with a 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel, Allison 1000 Series automatic transmission and a 6” Fabtech suspension lift. This truck has the coveted LBZ Duramax engine. The LBZ was the last Tier III emissions diesel offered by GM before the use of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). The DPF robbed power and fuel economy on the later LMM Duramax, along with the later addition of SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction, better known as urea or DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) injection) on the even later LML Duramax. The LBZ improved on the earlier LB7 and preceding LLY Duramax with more power, strengthened block and pistons, more robust fueling, and a host of other improvements that earned the LBZ the moniker of The Hot-Rod Duramax. My Duramax has not had a tuner or been hot-rodded, is stock and unadulterated, except for the lift kit, with a clean title, no accidents, and less than 75,000 miles. I purchased it last fall and love the truck except for the lift kit, which is too difficult for me to deal with being a disabled vet. This model has all the steering wheel controls, heated leather seats, digital automatic dual zone climate control, programmable seat and mirror positioning for two drivers. I am the second owner of this truck, and have only put several hundred miles on it. Dependability, reliability, power, durability, and longevity are the hallmarks of this awesome truck.
If you desire a very well taken care of Duramax that boasts power and fuel economy without the added expense of illegal delete kits or continuous fill-ups of exhaust fluid, then this is the truck for you.
This is the top-of-the-line at the time SLT package which, with the exception of a sun/moon roof, is fully loaded with power everything, leather, killer Bose sound system, etc.
I would be happy to answer questions for you, ifyou are sincere and legitimately interested in this fine truck, 575-430-1083. $36,000 is the "Buy it now" price if you want to skip past all the bidding process.
