2002 GMC Yukon Denali Description

We bought this vehicle two years ago for our growing family and have joyfully put 30k miles on it. My wife travels quite a bit for work now, so we had to buy a lower mileage Acadia Denali to replace this Yukon. If it weren't for that, we wouldn't be selling this vehicle as we absolutely love it!! I've contemplated keeping it anyway as it only costs $40/mo in insurance, but we're looking to buy a bigger house by October and this money will help realize that goal. I believe in total honesty when it comes to selling a vehicle and have owned over 30 vehicles in my life. Mileage will go up as I do enjoy driving this and will continue to occasionally do so until it sells. I have the clear FL title in hand. I will accept cash or certified bank check for payment and am open to shipping the vehicle (I've used uShip and similar brokers before). The Yukon will NOT leave my possession until the cash or funds clear my account!
THE GOOD:
*It's a GMC Yukon XL - has room for EVERYTHING
*It's been VERY reliable for us. GMC Yukon / Chevy Suburban are known to last a long time (a guy at work just sold his with 298k on it and it still ran great)! We've taken it to NC, Venice FL, Melbourne and Orlando more times than I can count
*The 6.0 has plenty of power. I also had the computer tuned by Black Bear Performance for a bump in power and better shift points. AWD works as it should. STRONG oil pressure (as seen in the pic of the vehicle at idle).
*Full polished aluminum wheels from a 2008 Sierra All-Terrain edition. Not chrome, not cheap plastic chrome covers. Full polished wheels. They're beautiful and weren't cheap. Tires are approx. 33" diameter, have 60k warranty, and were installed 6/1/16 at 179k. They are due for balance/rotate (which is lifetime at Discount Tire).
*I've kept up with basic maintenance. I only use Mobil 1 full synthetic oil every 5k miles. Replaced all plugs, air & fuel filter, and all 4 rotors and brake pads.
*The left front brake line rusted through (common on this generation, but doesn't help that it's a northern vehicle). As a precaution, I replaced all steel lines (can only order as an entire set from GMC anyway, so just made sense to do them all). Obviously flushed the fluid too (went DOT4)
*I replaced the fuel pump August 2016 with a Carquest lifetime warranty unit (only time the vehicle stranded us)
*I replaced the transmission cooler with a monster sized unit rated for a motorhome / 1 ton truck. Keeping trans fluid cool is the key to a long trans life and in FL heat, I wanted to preserve this vehicle for the long term. I also figured we may buy a camper one day (hasn't happened yet). You can see its effectiveness in the pic of instrument cluster. This is after a 10 mile drive in 85* heat and idling while I'm taking pics. It barely ever registers on the gauge; it's MUCH more efficient than the small factory cooler!!
*The A/C condensor was replaced at the same time as trans cooler. Stupid me. "I won't drill through this bracket into the condensor". So I can say with certainty that the refrigerant is NOT original and A/C works great front & rear.
*Clean Carfax. I purchased one just to prove it. Clean title is in my possession.
*Previous owner installed an aftermarket radio with bluetooth, 6 CD changer in console, and satellite radio. I don't know if anything other than the radio works b/c I'm not paying for satellite radio and don't own any CDs. I can say the bluetooth works great for streaming music and phone calls though.
THE BAD:
*Rust. It spent the majority of its life in Seattle. The rockers are pretty rotten. The frame/suspension shows rust, but nothing is rusted through.
*The rear speakers don't work. I believe it has to do with the rear speaker controls in the center console (it wouldn't turn off). I read online you can rewire it to bypass, but I couldn't find a wire diagram. The colors don't match up with speaker wire colors b/c they run to the factory amp in-between. Probing the wires proved to be pointless. My goal was to just replace all door speakers with aftermarket and run an aftermarket 4 channel amp. It would be a break-even venture b/c the factory BOSE speakers & amp go for decent money on ebay.
*The driver's heated seat doesn't work. I never tried diagnosing it b/c I really don't care.
*The 2nd row cupholder (flips down from center console) is broken (the hinges). It's folded up in the pics. I may be able to rig something to fix it. Also on the 2nd row is a discoloration in the leather. We used a power inverter on a road trip and the kids flipped it over without me knowing. Evidently it got hot enough to stick to the leather and peeled some of the coloring away when we picked it up. I placed a regular envelope next to it for scale.
*The driver's door. The vehicle shows no accidents, but for some reason the door appears to have been replaced / repainted . The coloring is slightly off and doesn't appear to be factory quality b/c it's peeling at the top. I also don't think it's lined up 100% correct b/c you can hear some wind noise on the highway.
*The air suspension works (I actually replaced the compressor b/c it didn't work when we bought it), but there's a leak. I just think the compressor kicks on more frequently than it should.
