2003 GMC Yukon Denali Description

2003 GMC Yukon Denali 6.0L Charcoal Grey / Tan Loaded with all options including Rear DVD with wireless headphones. 192,xxx miles. Have put over $5000 in new parts installed by ASE Master Mechanic. Addressed all reliability issues with high mileage Yukons. Did such items as:
  • New Intake Manifold with gaskets - Used the Dorman instead of Delco as it flows a little better and was cheaper.
  • Exhaust Manifold bolts - they just break off in the block cause of the types of metal used. I had 4 broke so we replaced them all with better than OEM.
  • New Fuel pump
  • ALL new suspension which switched from active to passive so no Air Ride troubles and also lowered it 2 inches all around for better handling - used MOOG for the suspension parts and Ground Force for the lowering kit. Ground Force is the ONLY company that makes a proper kit for lowering the older AWD Yukons. Very nice product was about $700 just for the kit.
  • New Tires - Goodyear Trail Runner AT
  • ALL new brakes - Calipers, pads and rotors also a couple bad lines
  • New Waterpump and converted to green coolant not the orange dexcool
  • Completely custom exhaust- no cats, H-Pipe, Hooker Aerochamber mufflers sounds BOSS
  • Mild ECU tune
Truck is in very good condition for age and mileage. There are a few things wrong with it that need to be addressed but do NOT affect the reliability. Rip in drivers seat very common for these trucks with higher mileage. Tach and Speedo do not work as the cluster needs replaced you can get for about $200 on ebay. Radio works but is drawing on the battery so I unhooked it. Needs a good aftermarket Alpine or something
