GMC Van (1999)
1999 GMC Safari Description
1999 GMC Safari utility van bought used in 2011 and operated by the facilities department. We are the second owner of this vehicle.
The engine was replaced in 2014 with a refurbished V6 4.3L engine. The tires are about 18 months old and have approximately one-half of the tread remaining.
The driver and passenger floor boards are heavily rusted. The driver's side is rusted through completely. This condition caused the driver floor mat to catch fire about 1 month ago when it fell through the hole and came into contact with the exhaust system.
The hinges on the driver's door need replacement. The A/C does not work.
The van starts and drives. Since there is a hole in the driver floor board the heat given off from the exhaust prevents it from being driven for more than a few minutes, so trailering is highly recommended.
