1996 GMC Sierra 2500 Description

This is a very clean GMC SIERRA 2500 HD 3/4 ton with Extended Cab and full back seat. Power steering, brakes, tilt, cruise, automatic and cold A/C. The truck goes down the road like a champ. Tires are good and it does everything right. Has Heavy Duty Hitch w/electric brakes, 305 CI Engine and bed liner. I bought it from the second actual owner which was a Church in Sept 2016. They owned it for 17 years. The church's rep. said they replaced the engine at 174,000 mi. so that leaves 75K since motor change and have always serviced it every 3,000mi. The interior is very clean as you can see and the paint [ Brilliant OLYMPIC WHITE GM code WA8624], is also great and it looks to be original. The interior is a beautiful "ATLANTIC BLUE" polyester cloth. Also note that the factory front valance is still there and looking good. Note a few small leaves on the hood and at the inside of the tailgate, so you don't think these are scratches, etc. Just a very nice respectable truck that runs well and really stands tall. I don't like wiper marks on the windshield so I had a new one installed. CarFax says 6 owners, but CarFax only recognizes registration. "VinAudit" actually says it estimated two owners including me? The truck was GM leased for two years, privately owned for two years and owned by the church for the remaining 17 years. So the reality is that it had a user and two actual owners plus me which makes three. I believe that the church rep. had no idea of the history since it was there for 17 years.So the truck spent its whole life in Orange Park, Fl, Altamonte Springs and St. Augustine, Fl. This truck is as nice as it looks with no squeaks, clunks or rattles and a good smooth ride. I think that you would really like this one and I believe you may think you are driving a new one.
