1969 GMC C10 Description

We have quite a few awesome early Chevy pickups in our inventory, but this 1969 GMC C10 is more of a rarity. With a very healthy stroker motor, upgraded interior, and a unique look, it's the pickup for the guy who wants to stand out from the crowd.
The period Sea Foam Green paint job sure looks good on the GMC's working-class sheetmetal. There's nothing to hide, as this has always been a straight southern truck, and light green paint has all kinds of possibilities. It can be sporty or utilitarian, and on this truck, it is perfectly vintage as well. Accented by a Road Runner mural on the tailgate, this truck takes on a fun, light-hearted feel that you usually don't find in working-class hardware. Of course, that isn't factory paint, and the body has been refinished to standards that probably would have stunned guys who bought these as working machines, because it's almost too nice to be a truck anymore. The bed shows no signs of heavy use and the wooden planks inside are in excellent condition with just a bit of patina that really works well. Bright chrome bumpers, a sliding rear window, and that simple GMC grille make this a truck whose subtlety will win you over.
The interior has been updated, using sloth upholstery in a matching two-tone green that works well with the exterior finish. Although it's a few years old, the upholstery remains in very good condition, making this a truck you could happily drive every day. Custom door panels have been stitched up using material that's a match for the seats, giving it a nicely integrated look that feels OEM. New dark green carpets, fresh paint on the dash, and an array of aftermarket gauges make this truck easy to love. It also features ice cold A/C, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and a custom steering wheel to match the T-handle shifter on the floor. And the shift light on the steering column should probably tell you a little bit about the intentions of the guy who built the motor.
The engine is a freshly built (4000 miles) 383 cubic inch small block stroker motor built by Mike McDaniel. It features a Summit block, Eagle crank and rods, aluminum heads, and a Mother Thumper cam that really does hammer away. Wearing, a set of chrome valve covers, a matching chrome air cleaner, and a big 4-barrel carburetor, it definitely makes big power, and thanks to the throaty dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, it sounds like the muscle truck that it is. A giant aluminum radiator keeps everything cool and you can see that they went out of their way to detail the engine bay so you can show it off. The engine is backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic feeding a sturdy 12-bolt rear end full of 3.73 gears on an Auburn posi. Stock suspension components ride well and are still ready to haul and it has a great stance thanks to big 265/70/15 front and 31x10.5R15 rear radials on Corvette Rally wheels.
