2004 Honda Element EX AWD 5-Speed, Mileage - 206,740
The Good -
This 2004 Element is in good overall mechanical condition. Features a 5-Speed manual transmission and 2.4L i-VTEC engine. Rides great, suspension is solid. Transmission shifts smooth and without issue. A/C works. Heat works, radio works, all lights work. Body is in excellent shape. Interior panels are also excellent and all trim pieces seem to be present and undamaged (aside from normal wear and tear on some.) Rear seats are fully operational. Can be driven as any other car. Parking brake seems to be in good working order. Alloy wheels are in great shape and tires are passable. Glass is in tact.
The Bad -
Cylinder 3 has almost no compression. The engine runs and holds it own on the highway (has been driven almost 100 highway miles since acquisition. At idle it sputters a bit and at low speed city driving it stumbles once in a while (will stall when driven cold but does not when warmed up.) Check engine light is flashing due to this but after diagnosis by our mechanics, this seems to be the only issue. No smoke.
We purchased this vehicle for retail sale but do not have the space to store this car for repair. So we are selling it for parts or for someone with the knowledge or ability to have this engine repaired.
