Super clean and pampered 2008 Honda Element SC. This currently resides in my home'ssecured garage parked on top of a rubberized floor. I have owned the Element for about6 months and have put 2,000 miles on it. I drive the car a couple times a week.
The SC model is front wheel drive. It has 18 inch rims, low profile tires, beefier suspension bits and a carpeted interior to name few things that make it different from an ordinary Element. It handles a LOT better than the 4 wheel drive model.
I have spent the last6 months going through this one top to bottom, inside and out, front to back. Here's a list of most of what I have done.

New Gibson cat back exhaust system. This is the aluminum alloy / steel system. My local muffler shop is a great place for aftermarket installation and fabrication. I had a high flow resonator welded in to the system and swapped out the hollow Gibson muffler with a Walker Pro Series muffler totame the sound level. No interior drone. Slightly louder than stock. A lot more aggressive sound if you happen to mash down the gas pedal! Installed Torctite brand stainless steel band clamps. Finished off with the classic stainless steel Gibson exhaust tip, which I painted with bright orange enamel on the inside. $685.00 total.
New Hella brand headlight bulbs. $50.00
LED interior overhead lights, reverse lights and license plate lights installed. $25.00
Beam style wipers installed front and rear. $35.00 total.
New hood deflector installed. AVS brand. Uses existing factory holes to mount. $50.00 total.
A significant amount of the hardware on the vehicle has been replaced with stainless steel hardware. All new stainless steel hardware treated with anti seize compound prior to installation. Stainless steel does not rust and anti seize compound means you will be able to remove the hardware, next week, next year or a decade from now. $225.00 so far.

Recalls: Driver front air bag inflator replaced. Passenger front airbag inflator replaced.
There is also a recall for Elements that have the factory tow package. This Element does not have the factory tow package.
Buyers must pay for and make their own transportation arrangements. Carriers can access my home easily. I have had several cars picked-up and delivered here.

Here's the short list of nitpicks. First. The front brakes sometimes make a thunking sound when you apply them. I have been told by various ASE certified mechanics that it could be the caliper slide pins binding, it could be the pistons not moving smoothly, some tell me that aftermarket brakes on Honda's typically do this. All of them agree there is no safety issue involved. What I know is they stop fine. No grabbing, catching, pulling, binding, squealing or any other typical signs of distress. Last. There are some light scratches here and there in the exterior finish and a bit of road rash on some of the rims and lower front valance. You have to really be looking for it to see it, but it is there.
I have a reserve price on the auction. NO I will not tell you the amount!
