1995 Honda Accord LX Description

I put this car together for a friend of my son who unfortunately cannot afford a car at this time. It was acquired from a now deceased friend who ran a towing service here. It has a clean title. Its engine was rebuilt following a timing belt failure with a rebuilt head, new pistons, rings, bearings and seals. It also has all new timing belts and water pump. Its transmission was very noisy in 5th and paperwork in the car indicated that the dreaded previous owner had driven the car without oil in the gearbox! The rebuilt gearbox is flawless. The steering rack had no seals and was also replaced with a rebuilt rackand new tie rods- it now functions as expected. Chasing down noises in the drive train, I replaced both front hub bearings as well as ball joints. Front and rear upper control arms and upper ball joints were also replaced along with the front and rear struts. There is a new battery along with new tires and muffler. The car has had a 4 wheel alignment and drives as it should- straight and true. The alternator became noisy and was replaced. Everything else on the car works. It was repainted before it came to us, and while the job is not perfect, the car is rust free and presents well. Its interior has been thoroughly cleaned but was smoked in at one point. There are a few small burns on the front door trims. It is a solid good running car now that could drive anywhere with no problems.
