THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN. PLEASE UNDERSTAND IT WILL TAKE A MAJOR OVERHAUL/RESTORATION TO GET IT TO RUNNING CONDITION. IT WILL HAVE TO BE TOWED FROM IT'S PRESENT LOCATION. Selling my black 1995 Honda Prelude Si.This was a spectacular car until the engine dropped a cylinder a few years back and I parked it thinking I would get it fixed. Time has gone by and that hasn't happened so its time to let someone else enjoy it.It has now sat for 5 years with only minor work done to it.
I have complete records on it up until the engine issue. The car has 279,000 miles. The engine was basically rebuilt around 168,000 miles after a timing belt broke. I had numerous items repaired/replaced on this car including: clutch replacement, front and rear suspension components, radiator, dash climate control system, exhaust system just to name a few.
The best part of this car is the interior which is in extremely good condition. Seats and upholstery are excellent with no tears, stains or problems. Dash has no cracks. Non smoking. Gauges and dash were all functional when the engine problems arose. Completely clean and as good as the day I got it.
The exterior and drive train are the issues. The clear coat of the paint has started to peel in some places and there is rust around the wheel wells as was the case with these cars. I would suggest the engine be replaced with a used JDM engine, which can be found for $700-800.5 speed manual transmission has never given me any issues. You should be able to drop an engine to it and get it on the road. You might also get the present engine fixed but that's questionable.
It does have an AEM cold air intake. It was moved about a month ago.
I could part the car out and make some good money on it, but I would prefer to sell it as one. It would make a great project for someone that loves this model or a great racing car as it handles very nicely.

The winning bidder will have to arrange a tow to remove the vehicle within 20 days of winning the auction. Access to the car is very easy and accessible. All tires are aired up on the car and it should move. It did have a seized parking brake/caliper on the rear wheel. That has been resolved.
