2007 Honda Odyssey LX Description

2007 Honda Odyssey LX Minivan. NO RESERVE.I bought this minivan new in 2007, raised my kids in it and it's been a great family car for nearly 10 years. It has 147,000 miles and I've never had to do anything to it other than routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, etc.) until now.I'm selling it now because the TRANSMISSION is making the check engine light come on (PLEASE READ ABOUT TRANSMISSION BELOW), but everything else on it is mechanically and functionally sound. It is currently licensed, inspected and fully drivable. It has never been in an accident, has no body damage beyond minor cosmetic scratches/scrapes/dings and the interior (amazingly) has no tears, damage or major stains. It has less than 1,000 miles on four brand new tires ($900 value) and has the following options/features:

  • 7 passenger seating
  • Fold-away 3rd row seating, split seating.
  • Dual sliding doors
  • Roof rack
  • Anti-lock brakes
  • Dual airbags
  • Side airbags
  • Power windows for all four windows
  • Power mirrors
  • Child safety locks
  • Hideaway floor storage in the second row
  • Front row center console tray that raises/lowers
  • Cruise control
  • CD player/stereo
  • Spare tire and jack that has never been used
  • Floor mats

It also has the following problems/flaws that you should be fully informed of:

  • Transmission. The transmission is causing the check engine light to go on.It seems to function fine, but does occasionally hesitate slightly shifting from first to second. So, you should plan for having to address this at some point in the near future. It could last a year, or a month, or a day.I just can't say and neither can my mechanic. My mechanic says it will cost about $3,000 to replace when it fails.
  • The tire pressure monitoring system light is on, even though the tires are inflated properly. Mechanic says one of the sensors is bad.
  • The driver control panel will roll down the left rear passenger window, but will not roll it back up. The control switch located at the left rear seat does roll it up and down
  • Windshield has a crack on the passenger side running about 8 inches down from the top and hanging a left for another 8 inches or so.(Pictured). Passed inspection with this crack.
  • One of the dashboard vent directional covers has a broken connector, but it doesn't impact proper operation (pictured, purposely misaligned so you can see the issue)
  • Decorative molding on right rear of roof rack is missing (pictured)
  • A variety of external scratches, dings and pings typical of a 10-year old car.The more significant ones are pictured and include a yellow scrape on front left bumper (thanks school bus) and scratch down the right rear quarter panel (thanks kids) :-)

I've done my best to represent everything about the car, but contact me with any questions you may have and I'll be happy to tell you more or send you more pictures. The Kelly Blue Book says this minivan is worth $6,000 so here's a great opportunity to get it at a huge discount because of the transmission. This is a no-reserve auction so highest bid gets the car!Winner is expected to provide a non-refundable deposit of $200 within 24 hours of auction close and pay the rest in cash when you pick up at my location within 2 weeks of auction close. Any other arrangements must be agreed upon in advance of bidding.

Good luck bidding!
