2001 Honda Odyssey Description

Hi. I am trying to sell this 2001 Honda Odyssey for my Mother. There are 4 keys and 2 key fobs.
It is in really good shape for the year. It does have minor dings and paint chips that you would expect to see with this age of van. The interior is very clean with some stains in the carpets but not bad. No rips or tears in the cloth seats. Every thing (except, I will describe in a minute) works as it should. All lights and indicators, a/c blows ice cold, engine runs strong with no leaks, it rides really smooth with no strange noises or rattles. Brakes are good. Tires have about 50% tread on them. This van has been serviced regularly and has been taken care of. My Mom is the 2nd owner and she bought it from a close family friend. So, I can tell you that it has been taken care of it's whole life. Now, the one thing with this van, as with all Honda Odyssey vans, is that the transmission is fading. Don't get me wrong, it still goes but some times it jumps from 2nd to 3rd and sometimes it won't downshift out of 4th...like sometimes when you pull up to a stop light and then press the gas to go, it's still in 4th gear. (so you just have to manually shift it into first, no big deal) The only reason my Mom is selling it is that she doesn't know anyone to put in a new transmission. (So, she went out and bought her an '04 Odyssey) Anyway, it still runs and drives good I just wanted to make sure you understand that the transmission does act up from time to time. (I drove my parents to Maryland in it 3 times last year and 2 times this year with no problems other than what I described above.) As you can see in the pictures, the check engine light is on. That again, is due to the transmission acting up. When it's hooked up to the code machine that's the only thing that comes up. Anyway, My Mom has priced the car where she thinks its fair and still affordable if someone wanted to buy it and drive it or buy it and put a new transmission in it. If you have any other questions please feel free to email me. I'll get back to you asap. This van is being sold as is. $100.00 deposit throughPayPal within 48 hrs of auction end and the remainder in cash at time of pick up. Thanks for looking.
