2009 Honda Civic lx Description

Up for sale is a 2009 Civic Coupe LX. Auto, Ac,cruise,pw,pdl, 149k miles.

I am posting this car for a friend. It is a one owner Civic coupe that has been well maintained and has spent its life in Southern California(no Rust). The car runs and drives great and should provide the new owner with many years of problem free service. The only reason it is up for sale is his new company provided a new car allowance. The car looks like it does in pictures. It has a 149,858 miles on it(we have been driving it this week just to make sure everything is as it should. There has been about $2600 parts and labor put in over the last month just to make sure this is a turn key for the next owner. We want the next owner to be able to just get in the car and drive. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this car cross country.

Recent work includes:

New oil change

New spark plugs and air filter

New front ceramic brakes

New left oem rear trailing arm(bushing looked worn so we replaced whole unit and othe misc bushings) with new alignment

New rear KYB shocks

New windshield (had a small star in it so we replaced it)

New AC compressor,new ac condencer and drier and fresh AC charge

New hydraulic motor mount

It’s important for the new owner to be happy with the purchase. So please feel free to contact me with any questions or picture request. I will do my best to describe the car but please ask questions. I would like there to be no surprises. That being said this is a used car.

Body: The car has 149k miles and is in no way being sold as new. It has multiple door dings ect that would be considered normal for a car that is a 2009. Some rub marks and dings on lower right hand corner panel(see pict)There is some paint checking on the hood(see picture) and a a 2 ½ inch dimeter sunspot on roof(see picture)The rear bumper skin was replaced a while back with a Kappa certified skin(the original had a s 3 inch gouge and painted to match(looks good enough but in some light it looks a little darker). There is a crack on rear left tailight(see pict), seemed minor so we didn't replace. Other than that the car looks as it does in the pictures. Paint has been cared for and shines well

Interior:Once again the car has 149k miles. Interior wear is good. There is some staining here and there but overall looks good. There is a small cut(1/2 to3/4 inch) on passenger seat and a loose seam on right side underneath passenger seat(hard to notice). Headliner is in good shape. Carpet has always had floor mats on and is in great shape. The floor mats are stainked on floor but carpet underneath is great shape(see Picts) All buttons,plastic switches are in good shape. Rear trunk is in good shape with factory spare/jack. Stereo work good and has an aux jack as well. Cruise control operates as it should and Ac blows cold.

Drive: As I mentioned Oil/filters just replaced. Car is ready to drive. The engine is quiet and smooth, accelerates as it should. Transmission shifts smooth. Tires are in good shape and steers straight down the road and has the normal civic ride(not as smooth as a Cadillac but normal for a civic).

Once again car is not new but is a nice car). It should be good to go as is without any repairs(to the best of my knowledge). It is important for this to be a good transaction for all parties involved so once again feel free to ask questions or send a mechanic.
