2005 Honda Odyssey Touring Description

Up for auction is a 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring + navigation and rear seat entertainment. I picked this up in January as an extra car to keep some miles off my truck and it hasn't let me down in 12,000 miles. My wife's business got a new van and I'm getting the replacement as a hand-me-down and my driveway is getting a bit overcrowded. This was the top of the line trim for an Odyssey in 2005 and the only options available where Navigation and Rear Seat DVD, both of which this van has.
The Good:
  • The engine and transmission run great and I haven't had a single issue with it in my time of owning it
  • This was a Florida van (I picked it up in Orlando and drove it home from there) and has zero rust. Not a spec and the undercarriage is super clean
  • The van handles great, brakes work great (Rotors and pads replaced about 5000 miles ag), AC blows cold, heat blows hot
  • Navigation is a bit out of date, but still works great
  • Rear camera and parking sensors also work great (though the camera image is a bit dark) and they really do a good job of alerting you when the van is a bit too close to any obstacles
  • Tires are brand name Yokahama and are pretty new with about 12000 miles on them
  • Rims are aftermarket to remove the awful PAX tires.
  • Title is clean and has no liens and is in my name

The Bad:
  • There is a minor dent in the driver side sliding door
  • The exterior is in "just average" condition with a fair share of scratches and dings
  • Being a Florida car, the paint is a bit faded (not super bad, but not factory-new glossy either) and the interior is a bit sun damaged. In particular, the vinyl sides of the seats is peeling and the leather has hardened a bit.
  • The power slide doesn't work on either rear door. They both work fine manually, though
  • The aftermarket rims don't have the tire pressure sensors in them, so the automatic tire pressure monitoring isn't working

All in all, this is a great van and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. Typical Honda quality means you can easily get another 140,000 miles out of this van.

Better yet, I'm happy to pick you up from the Appleton regional airport and you can enjoy some sightseeing on the way home.
