Up for auction is this 1998 Honda Prelude, complete with its original H22A4 Vtec engine. This car is loaded with most of the factory option and is very clean for its age. Other than the carbon fiber wrapped hood, this car remains completely in its unmolested original form. The car just received a new timing belt, new water pump, new balance shaft belt, new valve cover gasket and an upgrade to the H23 timing belt tensioner, to get it away from the original H22 hydrolic tensioner that have been known to fail and destroy these engines, and finally I put a new battery in it. the Interior in this car is an easy 9 out of 10 and the exterior I would say is an 8.5 out of 10, simply because it has a few hail dings here and there. I bought this car from the original owner and it has been in the Chattanooga Tn area since it was new. The car is absolutely rust free as the pictures show. The car has 177,000 miles on it, but still runs and drives excellent. The tires are about 50% tread left, and the brakes work good on the car.
