Reliable - 30+ MPG - Your perfect commuter car!

After over 10 years of loving my Civic dearly I was able to afford an upgrade and am looking to find it a good second home. The car is in fantastic mechanical condition but has some minor cosmetic issues, which do not affect how it runs. The majority (over 50%) of the miles on the car are highway miles, having taken countless trips up and down I-5 to Oregon and Southern CA. The go-to car for me and my friends on dozens of road trips all over the western US. It runs like a dream and should continue running for another 150k to 200k more miles, at least, if treated properly.

THE BAD

For a few years the car was parked in my SF neighborhood, which inevitably means some cosmetic damage occurred:

• Small spot of missing paint on right front bumper.
• Driver side door has couple medium dents.
• Minor scratches and dings on different areas of the car/bumper.
• Rusting on top strip of driver side door.

THE GOOD

Cosmetic issues and accident mentioned above have not affected how the car runs. Has never broken down on me. My mechanic at Japan Auto in San Rafael is quite impressed with the working condition of the car.

Adhered to Honda recommended maintenance and oil change schedule using Honda specialist Japan Auto in San Rafael (records included). Most recently:

• 150k Major service - $470 value
• Timing belt replaced at 152k miles (~11k miles ago) - $680 value
• Timing belt should last another 90-140k miles!
• 160k Minor service - $140 value
• Rear breaks replaced at 161k miles (~2k miles ago) - $240 value

• AM/FM, CD, MP3, Aux plug-in, iPod cable
• Play music from your phone using a standard aux-to-aux audio cable
• Plug in your iPod via the cord in the glovebox and control it directly from the Alpine deck
• *Pro Tip* - Pick up a Bluetooth iPod adapter (search Amazon) and play music in the car from your phone via Bluetooth!
