2005 Honda CR-V SE Sport Utility 4-Door Description
I am the 2nd owner, I purchased this vehicle from a used auto lot in Providence, RI approximately 15 months ago. The CarFax report will show one previous owner, a clean history, and regular maintenance. The car has served me perfectly well, but I no longer have a need for it since moving to New York City.
Features:
This vehicle has the 'SE' trim level, including heated leather seats and a sliding moonroof. Additionally, I replaced the stereo with Pioneer's AVH-4100NEX, which provides Android Auto / Apple CarPlay support through the stereo's screen. I've also run two coaxial cables through the vehicle's interior body panels to the tailgate, so you could hook-up a back-up camera that shows-up on the stereo's screen when you're in reverse (I've already wired-in a power harness for the camera, and I can provide you with the camera I bought for the car; I simply haven't had time to install it).
Maintenance:
The vehicle has been well-maintained and is in excellent condition. The exterior body looks great - there are some very minor dents and scrapes (see pictures), consistent with it being 11-years-old, but all of which could easily be repaired / buffed-out if you wanted.
Likewise, the interior is in excellent condition - the leather seats don't have any tears, scrapes, or much of any wear to speak of. There's some scuffing of the plastic body panels in the rear cargo bay, consistent with it being used to haul stuff around. I've replaced all of the fabric floor mats with Honda's all-weather rubber mats. I've kept the vehicle very clean, and it's never been smoked-in.
I have all of my service paperwork, which I can pass along. The vehicle most recently passed inspection in August of this year.
Maintenance Details:
- I replaced all four tires at the time of purchase, some all-weather Goodyear model. They've now got about 34,000 miles on them, with 8/32nds tread measured at the vehicle's inspection in August. They've been regularly rotated and enjoy lifetime free service through BJ's.
- The rear brakes were re-built down to the calipers approximately a year ago, and the front brake pads were replaced around that time as well.
- I managed to crack the front windshield transporting some PVC pipe, so I got a new windshield installed through Safelite (my insurer's provider). Crystal clear and no leaks since being installed about a year ago.
- Lastly, I needed to replace the car's battery about a year ago, and rather that using the CR-V's oddball/wimpy battery size (Size 51R / ~450 CCA), I modified the battery tray to accept a Bosch battery in Size 34 / 770 CCA. So much better with cold starts on winter mornings, and it's got about two years left under warranty (I've got all the vehicle's paperwork since I bought it).
Delivery:
I will consider personally delivering the vehicle to major metropolitan areas on a case-by-case basis.
