2001 Honda S2000 Convertible AP1 71k miles
2001 Honda S2000 S2000 Description
READ FULL DESCRIPTION: POSSIBLE BAD ENGINE:2001 AP1 S2000 for sale. Car is in great shape with 70k on the clock. The car is silver in color, has been maintained very well, does have a rebuilt title from a minor front end accident, while under ownership of the previous owner. The car was professionally repaired by the previous owners insurance company at a credible body shop etc. Paperwork is available to prove this along with a record of an insurance claim made through Geico Insurance CO.The top was replaced by the previous owner, along with a HKS hi-power dual exhaust. The car runs and drives but recently developed a, what sounds to be an intermittent valve train knock, it does not occur at idle but will come and go if brought off of idle. I don't know what the issue is and I don't have time or the resources to dive in and figure out what is going on. It COULD be a simple fix or the engine COULD be BAD! I'am not sure. It is the buyers responsibility to determine if it is something he/she want's to look into, part out or fix. I AM SELLING THE CAR AS IS! The car has a K&N Typhoon intake that goes down into the fender so you can be super obnoxious with all of those V-TEC noises. The car has a test pipe with an O2 emulator so no cel's. The airbag light is on from the accident it was in which appears to just be a sensor because no airbags where ever fired in the car. The car has Sparco EVO-2 plus seats with matching Sparco 4 points and a custom rear harness bar. The car also has a jdm radio cutout in the dash for a dual din head unit. (currently just has a dvd screen, easily changed to whatever you want in it). The car is on stock ride height oem springs but has Koni yellow adjustable struts/shocks. The clutch was replaced approximately 4k miles ago with a 6 disk copper ceramic disk and pressure plate, along with the lightest aluminium flywheel that could be found, the original flywheel will go with the car. As well as the oem catalytic converter. It's not an impossible clutch to drive just takes a day to get use to, then shifting is fast and aggressive! The car does NOT come with the TE37 reps pictured but can be included at the buyers expense. It currently has Subaru STI wheels on the car with Bridgestone RE-11 tires with about a quarter tread. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the listing at any time I see fit, or for any reason I see fit. The car is available for local pickup only, I will not ship. If the buyer would like to ship the car all arrangement's must be made by the buyer. I will park it at the end of my driveway with the keys in it but the rest is the buyers responsibility. The car is available for viewing or inspection upon request. Inspection is not necessary but is encouraged. The car does not have a lein of any sort on or against it. Cash or cashiers check only upon pick up. Please ask any questions!
