Why was the prior listing cancelled?

eBay said: “Your listing shows title information that conflicts with reports from Autocheck, a vehicle-history service. Please ensure that the Vehicle Title field reflects the correct brand for your vehicle.”When I listed the vehicle I selected “Clear” for Vehicle Title because I do not have a loan on the truck and the Maryland Title is not “Branded” in any way.

I purchased this vehicle at an auto auction from the Erie Insurance Company. It had already been repaired and the prior owner would not accept the vehicle after the repairs were completed. In Maryland, according to the MVA web site, if the damages sustained exceed 75% of the vehicle’s value theMVA will issue a corrected title that reflects the new inspection date and the notation “Rebuilt Salvage.”The damage to this vehicle was well under 75% and therefore the Maryland title is not branded. (This truck was hit on the front passenger side. All the body panels are original except the front passenger fender.)

When an insurance company sells a vehicle at auction it is sold as is with no warranty and the insurance company assumes no liability whatsoever. They accomplish this by selling the vehicle as salvage.

An Autocheck report is provided for you free by clicking the link above. It shows the accident on January 2, 2016, the auto auction on February 11, 2016 and my registration of the vehicle on March 08, 2016.I have been driving the truck as my personal vehicle since I registered it.

I am not an auto dealer, just an auto enthusiast.I have purchased two vehicles from the same auto auction - this Element and a 2014 Honda Civic that was a stolen and recovered vehicle.Although at the auto auction I was not allowed to drive either vehicle before I bought them they have both turned out to be good deals.

You are more than welcome to come take a look at and drive this Element before you bid on it.I have the inspection report and vehicle alignment report from when I had it Maryland inspected before I registered it.If you like you can also take it to an inspection station at your expense before you bid.I guarantee that this vehicle will pass inspection, if it does not pass I will pay to have it fixed. You will not be disappointed in this vehicle.I would love to give you my phone number to make it easier to answer any of your questions or arrange a test drive but I don’t think eBay allows it and I don’t want this auction cancelled again. Therefore, message me though eBay and I will get back to you quickly. The reserve is way below the current KBB and NADA values.

Thanks for your interest.Good luck bidding.
