2009 Honda Element EX Sport Utility 4-Door Description

This auction is for a 2009 Honda Element EX. It is a 4 wheel drive SUV. It has been involved in an accident. I purchased it from an insurance company auction to repair for my wife but I have far to many projects and she has decided its Spring and she wants another type of car! Anyway, as far as wrecked cars go this one is fairly minor. in my opinion of course. I have fixed many wrecked cars and this is the type I like to fix. No airbags deployed, no broken glass and no frame or drivetrain damage...that I can see anyway. The car starts and lot drives perfectly. No rubbing, binding or weird sounds. Engine sounds great...just purrs at an idle. From what I can tell the major parts needed are right fender, front bumper assembly, core support, cooling and headlights and a hood. I don't think the lower frame rails are distorted at all, just the bolt on collapsible ends and even they are not crushed, just bent sideways. Sort of a glancing blow I think. The upper fender rails where the core support fastens are good, right side untouched, left side slightly tweaked but easily repairable. Now of course this is my offhand observation. I haven't torn the car apart at all so all of the fasteners will be right where you need them and you will also gain the knowledge you need to put it back together by taking it apart. Overall the car is in good shape. The interior will clean up nicely. The outside areas not involved in the collision should clean up nicely as well. The only other damage I can see is a small area on the rear bumper cover right side corner. Probably a parking lot bump. Not very noticeable but just thought I should mention it. I wouldn't replace it but if you wanted to make it a showpiece you might want to replace it. I am sure they are pretty cheap. Anyway most of the parts are available aftermarket and the ones that aren't are pretty reasonable from Honda. This car has a retail of over 13k so there should be plenty of room to fix it and have a fraction of replacement cost in it, or to sell and make some money if you are so inclined. This is a NO RESERVE auction so please do not bid unless you have the funds in place to purchase the car. Do not bid if you have no feedback without contacting me for approval. This is a "pickup only" item however I will work with your hauler to load and get it on its way to you. You cannot drive it home for several reasons....so don't even give that a thought! If you are within 200 miles of Southeast Ohio I have access to very reasonable shipping, just ask. Any questions, please email before bidding. Thanks for looking!
