If you've never owned or ridden in a Honda Element, then you don't know what you're missing when it comes to comfort, head room/leg room, cubic capacity and reliability in the worst weather conditions. For an all wheel drive, the fuel economy can't be beat with any vehicle this roomy (we average about 24 mpg). The EX has a great sounding, high end sound system, including CD player and Auxiliary Input, as well as additional power ports, both front and rear, power steering, power brakes, and power windows. The automatic transmission has been thoroughly maintained and shifts flawlessly. The engine has a fresh oil change (done regularly), as well as new air intake filter, new OEM AC Compressor (air blows ice cold!), new catalytic converter, as well as new exhaust manifold output gasket (donut). New Pennsylvania inspection and emissions stickers, good until the end of July next year. Additionally, I just replaced the rear struts/shocks and it rides like brand new. I also noticed two of the rubber motor mounts were wearing, and replaced both of them with OEM motor mounts. The windshield was recently replaced by Safelite, and is covered by their warranty. I have also recently replaced the spark plugs with the OEM iridium plugs required, new front wiper blades, new rear wiper blade, new serpentine belt, all new Honda fluids (coolant, power steering, brake, transmission), new cabin air filters, new Duralast Gold (guaranteed for life) front brake pads. Front tires at 50%, back tires at 70%. Hoods Clearcoat was pealing, so we did a repaint and new Clearcoat. This Element has a cracked fog light, several scratches and a dent, as well as bumper scuffs front and rear, all of which are pictured. Vehicle was aligned 2 or 3 years ago and drives nice and straight down the highway. The front end is very tight and feels like new when driving.
This is one of two Elements that we own, and I would not be selling it if I hadn't just bought a new truck and my wife is complaining that we have too many vehicles on our insurance policy. These are absolutely amazingly dependable vehicles and have the renowned 2.4 Liter "K" Series Engine.
Theplastic on the insideof the top of the drivers side arm rest is cracked (please see pictures).
The airbags are due to be serviced for free under a factory recall. We have an appointment scheduled as soon as they get their new shipment of parts. That may happen after we sell this vehicle and the new owner can simply take our appointment or go to any HondaDealer. The airbag light is the only light that is on in the dashboard. As you can see by the above parts/maintenance list, I believe in taking care of my vehicles and maintaining them in advance.
The engine runs strong and like new and you can easily put 500K miles on a K series with proper maintenance.
Might consider partial trade for fully functional 4x4 4 wheeler, Max 6x6 or any Fisher Wood Stove. Send me a message and let me know what you have.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
