UNLIKE ANY OTHER HMMWV THIS ONE IS COMPLETELY MILITARY UPGRADED AND READY ! NO NEED TO BUY A RESTORED HMMWV, BUY AN ORIGINAL IN EXCELLENT SHAPE ! This is in my personal collection. I am a professional diesel mechanic. I have gone over this vehicle lots of times inspecting as many parts as possible. There is NOTHING MECHANICALLY this vehicle needs except a DRIVER ! This M998 has a ton of military upgrades including but not limited to,NEW and IMPROVED heavy duty 6.5 diesel engine with NEW injector pump(tags still on it, New radiator and hoses (tags still on them), Like new fan belts,Hood has NEW light wiring harness with ALL NEW LED LIGHTS,LED pushbutton light switch in dash,New KDS latest edition computer control box with NEW glowplug controller, Barely used Hydraulic Milemarker winch with grillguard,HEAVY DUTY rear bumper,Very cold military RED DOT AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM, New high back front seats with matching standard rear seats,2 M16 gun racks,Some radio and antennae wiring and two antennae bases mounted on rear,military 24 volt batteries in excellent shape,NEW military 24 volt solar panel, 95% TREAD on NEWEST military KEVLAR tires Goodyear Wrangler MT/R mounted with run flats on Newest Military 24 bolt wheels,HARD TOP with date of 01/2010 manufacture,All 4 X doors in very good shape. Front end and rearend tie rods,ball joints,bushings,etc. all are very tight and like new. All HUBS inspected and filled with oil. Front and rear differentials inspected and filled with oil. Brakes in very good shape,drivelines in very good shape,exhaust in very good shape (no leaks,minor rust only).This vehicle has NO known leaks,it does not drip onto my floor. IF YOU WANT A TOP OF THE LINE MILITARY HUMVEE WITH NO KNOWN MECHANICAL DEFECTS THIS IS IT !
**The ONLY flaw I have found is cosmetic and it is a cracked hood corner near the passenger side led side marker light. This may be the reason the military retired this vehicle.I am not a body repair person and it is so small I have not fixed it.***** The mileage on the speedometer today is 26807 miles, and UNLIKE OTHER SELLERS ON EBAY and the INTERNET . I cannot confirm if this is original miles or not. UNLESS you have the vehicle documentation service and repair history, NO ONE selling knows if the speedometer has been changed or replaced at some point ! *** **This vehicle has current State of Texas inspection and insurance,however it still has a govplanet Florida title which shows this as a 2004 year model,which I can transfer at any time. I have not been able to get my local DMV to issue an on road titl, so I have been in no hurry in transferring waiting on their rules to change.** REASON FOR SELLING ! I have 5 M998 humvees right now in my collection so I need to downsize a little ! ***These 2004 dated M998 4 door hard top hmmwv's were selling on govplanet for $50-55k plus 10% commission,WITHOUT military hydraulic winches,without grillguards,without military Red Dot AC and without LED lighting,in UNKNOWN WORKING CONDITION !!!
