Very rare Hummer H1 representing one of only 15 Silver Metallic Open Top convertibles built in 2001, and one of only 869 total examples built that year! Clean CARFAX and freshly serviced! Nicely appointed and never abused! Ready for the road or the trail!
The Hummer H1, based off of the US military’s M998 Humvee released by AM General in 1984, was officially offered for public consumption on March 14th, 1992. With (slightly) more creature comforts, this truck carried several engines over its lifespan, with a 6.5L turbo-diesel offered over the majority. Extremely capable, we are confident anyone reading this is already familiar with its excellent ground clearance, approach & departure angles, and water fording capabilities. New for the 2001 H1 line up would be larger, outside heated power mirrors for added visibility, 17” aluminum wheels for better tire selection, Monsoon radio option available for the Open Top units for the first time, better heavy duty idler arm/pitman arm combination, along with revised dash layout and rear seat armrests for rear seat passengers. Truly the ultimate off-road vehicle for consumer purchase until their departure from General Motors, the H1 has now become quite the collectible!
We are very proud to offer this 2001 Hummer H1 Open Top that has been part of our private collection since 2012. Finished in its original Silver Metallic exterior, this pampered example has been very well kept since new! Featuring the 6.5L Turbo-charged Diesel engine mated to the 4L80E 4-speed electronic overdrive transmission, it offers an ample 195 factory rated horsepower and monster 438 ft. lbs. of torque. This H1 Convertible is fitted with Central Tire Inflation System, cruise control, power window, mirrors, & locks, front & rear HVAC, heated front windshields, auto-dimmer rear-view mirrors with compass & temp, carpeted Hummer floor mats, 17” aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler GS-A tires, upgraded MOMO steering wheel, upgraded front brush guard and windshield light bar both fitted with a total of six Hella Rallye 1000 flood lamps!
