2006 Hummer H3 Base Sport Utility 4-Door Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Hummer H3. I snagged this baby Hummer because it was a 5 speed manual, which I thought was super cool. I would rate the exterior of this Hummer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in white with black trim, black tinted windows and black interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Hummer, there are a few small spots of surface rust that have been touched up...but nothing bad, no rot. The white finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. The fender flares and body trim all show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show a little age but are presentable. Tire tread is good all around and the tires all match. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully.

I would also rate the interior of this Hummer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few marks but are acceptable for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The cloth seats are clean and comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds great. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. Cargo area is impressive. The door swings open wide and is assisted by a gas strut so it stays open and never gets away from you while opening or closing it, which is nice. The cargo area is protected by a hard plastic liner so no worries about spills and such. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully.

Mechanically, this H3 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.5L inline five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. I've personally put a few hundred miles on this Hummer...my kids think it's cool and always ask me if I can bring it home. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. When this car came to me, the check engine light was on. The code was for a coolant temperature sensor. I cleared the code to see if it would come back. It hasn't so far, but I wanted to let you know so you're not surprised if it does come back. The only other warning on is for the TPMS. One of the sensors must be bad. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Hummer is sure to get you anywhere you need to go. The manual transmission is pretty hard to find. I think I've only seen two (including this one) come through wholesale. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
