I am a long-time member of eBay and have successfully sold a vehicle and a motorcycle via eBay in the past, so please bid with confidence.
NO OUT OF COUNTRY TRANSACTION WILL BE ACCEPTED, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Up for sale is my 2012 Hyundai Elantra GLS. 50k miles. I am the second owner and have had the vehicle since 12k miles. I have maintained it with an intent of keeping it after I pay it off but my current financial situation dictates otherwise. Additionally, I have 2 other cars that I am planning on sticking with for a while.
My wife was recently rear-ended at a stop light (photo included) and the only damage that the car sustained was a hole and a few scratches on the rear bumper, which has since been replaced with a brand new one by a professional body shop. You are more than welcomed to come by to test-drive the car, and even take it to a mechanic for an inspection. You are also more than welcomed to arrange for a shop of your own choice to provide you with an inspection report (at your own expense of course). This car is NOT my daily driver and is more of a pleasure car than anything.
This car has a clean title that is currently owned by Baxter Credit Union (BCU). This means that in order for you to obtain the title the loan has to be paid off first. You are more than welcomed to make the payment directly to BCU either out of pocket or via a 3rd party loan. As soon as BCU notifies me of successful payment the vehicle will be released to you. You can also make the payment to me, and as soon as BCU releases the title I will forward it to you. Your choice.
Details:
- -New Oil change (less than 1k miles). I have been using synthetic Mobile 1 (best one you can buy) since I’ve had the car, and have been changing it every 5k miles (although you can go much longer than that)
--New rear brakes and rotors
--Newer front brakes and rotors
--Brand new tires (pirelli cinturato p7 all season plus – one of the best you can get - installed in June of this year, have no more than 3k miles on them)
--It has limited powertrain warranty until 60k miles from Hyundai Dealership
--If the car sells for "Buy It Now" then I will transfer the additional Baxter Credit Union warranty to a new owner (bumper-to-bumper with a $200 deductible) that I obtained when I initially purchased the car (I believe it’s good until 75k miles but need to verify). If "Buy It Now" is NOT reached I reserve the right to VOID the additional BCU warranty on the car, leaving the original 60k powertrain warranty ONLY.
--New top of the line windshield wipers
--No bumper stickers
--Non-smoker
--No foul odors
-- Very clean
--Just passed the emissions without any issues
--Everything works
Car was taken to a dealership 3 times during my ownership for the following reasons:
--Rear-left door handle had to be replaced (bought it cracked)
--Front-left axle nut was loose, had to be tightened
--Front-left axle nut was loose, had to be tightened for the second time. This time, however, dealership replaced an axle and a control arm (at their expense).
Current needs:
--Serpentine belt
--Alignment (because of the new tires)
--Rear brakes need to be lubed up as it squeaks at times during turns
--Some of the small lights are out apparently, will need to be looked into
I intend to fix the above before anyone comes to see it, but if I don’t then at least you are not surprised. Outside of Cash or Money Order the only other acceptable form of payment would be if you get yourself pre-approved by a 3rd party. (This is actually how I purchased the car myself). It’s a bit of a process and takes about 10 business days. (Please make sure that you are actually pre-approved before bidding on the car so we don’t waste each other’s time). If you have special circumstances please email me.
