2005 Hyundai Sonata GL for sale.4-cyl engine - gas saver. Gets 430+ miles on a full tank (15 gal)
AC blows ice cold / Heater blows nice and hotStereo works great - stock, bass/treble/fade/balance options, CD playerAll power options work just fine - windows, keyless entry/alarm, cruise control, etc.
Runs and drives like new, engine is incredibly quiet, you can barely tell it's even running until you look at the RPM gauge or rev it a little. No shaking or rattling, rides great at 70-80mph too. The car is well balanced and really runs incredibly smooth.
I have all receipts for the work performed on this vehicle:
$1,100 paint and body job done in 2014. Unfortunate curb rub on front bumper while parking, paint peel on rear bumper - all repaired. + overall paint refresher over entire car.
$380 full tune up done in the Fall of 2015.
Had New engine and transmission installed in 2014 - have paperwork, $1,600 jobNew engine had 114kmiles on it at the time of install (my mistake on the initial post of130kmiles, my dad corrected me). The Sonata has been driven 20k miles since the install, so this engine/trans has 134k miles in total. 205k miles on chassis.
All New fluids - synthetic Mobil1 and K&N filter installed in Sept. this year - barely driven since then.Transmission oil changed at time of new install in 2014.Rear differential gear oil changed with synthetic OEM in March 2015.New spark plugs OEM installed 2015.
New hood hinges and shocks, New fuel filter, New air filter, New headlights and New $130 CREE LED bulbs (BRIGHT!)LED license plate bulbs - very clean/modern looking. Shines off the chrome trim nicely. Looks amazing at night.
Just had timing belt/tensioner/pulley/water pump/gasket service done last month - have paperwork $500 job
Comes with 2 sets of keys plus a 3rd spare key, spare tire, original window sticker, all books and manuals, and tool kit. One keyless remote still needs to be programmed, Hyundai will do this for $20 at any dealership. The key needs to be cut, Home depot or any hardware store will do this for under $5. One spare key is just a blade, needs cutting.
What it needs/issues:Sunroof buttons don't work - this is 99.9% likely a fuse that needs to be swapped. I will check myself before this auction ends and update the description.Has a few dings from hail on the rear drivers side quarter panel, barely noticeable until you get up close about 12" away and inspect.Tires are in decent condition but if it needs to be driven in the winter it will need a set of all-seasons or winter tires. As is right now, they do great in dry and wet weather. Not sure about ice/snow, rarely drove it in winter, it was garaged during the colder months. It does do quite well in snow, it is FWD after all.Plastic hood cowl has a small crack, barely noticeable.Window tints :)
