This 2001 Hyundai Tiburon is right for someone who is interested in repairing it to full functionality, or use it to part it out. I purchased this in 2011 when it had 110,000 miles on it, clean title. Been a great car over the years. 2015 the car got into a minor fender bender and because the damage exceeded the value of the car, it is now a salvage title. Car has about 151,000 miles. Passed every smog check. Registration is good till April 2017. Oil changed every 3,000.

The car in its current state has limited functionality. I bought a new battery on 10/29/16 because the car was unable to get any power. The previous battery had leaked and was totally drained. The car is able to turn on now that their is a new battery, but the alternator is no longer charging. AAA came out and deemed it dead and needs to be replaced.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS:
-Passenger window needs a new motor.
-Air Bag light is on. There is a sensor in the safety belt latch that needs to be replaced.-Minor dings and scratches on the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
Bottom Line:
The car will be fully functional if you get the alternator replaced. Great car for high school kids just starting to drive, and has a fantastic radio/speaker setup. Manual transmission, so what better way to learn!
This vehicle is also available for parts, however, you have to buy the whole vehicle, and then do what you want with it.
At this time, the vehicle is able to turn on and drive from Point A to B since it has a new battery. So you will not need a tow to pick this vehicle up.
