2010 Hyundai Elantra - Runs Great, Well-Maintained!
2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS Description
Introduction:
Hi there! I am selling a 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS Trim. I am asking for $6,250.00. (Cash or Certified Bank Check) I am selling it simply because my wife and I would like a bigger car with 4WD as we currently have two small, FWD cars. Note: It is a rebuilt title, but I will say I did my research on that before buying. More details below.
Pickup is LOCAL ONLY. I don't ship. Purchase requires immediate $250 deposit.
This is a great car for someone, like me, who really just wants a car that goes from point A to point B efficiently. If you want a car that is cosmetically perfect or can haul lots of people, this is not the one for you.
My contact info is posted. Email, text, and phone calls are welcome. I included the VIN for anyone using Carfax or Autocheck.
Rebuilt Title Info:
I knew this was a rebuilt title when I purchased the vehicle. The reason I went ahead with the purchase is that I was actually able to track down the insurance company who insured the car (USAA) when it got into an accident. I spoke on the phone with a representative for about 1.5 hours regarding the details of the accident. She said that it looked to her like a minor front-end collision, and that she was very surprised that the car was marked a total loss. Again, this conversation was a major factor in my justifying the purchase, and why I am not selling it for super cheap. Though the price certainly reflects a rebuilt title.
Basic Info:
Mileage: 84,5xx
MPG: 26 City/31 Highway
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: FWD
VIN: KMHDU4ADXAU893265
Maintenance:
The car has been very well-maintained. I use extended performance full-synthetic oils, flush and refill fluids more often than needed, and I record all maintenance in a little book in the glove box which you are more than welcome to review if you come see the car.
Cosmetic Issues:
Again, there are a few things with the car that aren't perfect. None of these things will impact the car's ability to drive.
The left rear door sometimes does not respond to power locks. (May need new solenoid)
Some of the paint is chipping on the hood. (Pics included)
Personally, I have not fixed these because stuff like this doesn't really bother me. I believe the price has been knocked down accordingly.
I purchased it from a dealer in MD, and have driven it for 42,000 miles over the last 3 years. I like this car a lot and am sad to see it go.
