Description:

Here’s Infinity’s midsized entry into the luxury car market. These are upscaled vehicles designed to compete with Lexus, Mercedes, BMW and Volvo. Every once in a while I do buy an Asian vehicle. This vehicle was pretty clean but did have a check engine light that we ended up fixing! Read on about this very nice riding, smooth luxury car. But, of course, you expect vehicles this nice from Grove Automotive Group, Inc.!

Options:

Finished in pewter metallic and tan colored leather upholstery, this VERY CLEAN 2003 Infinity G35 features about everything that you expect in an Asian luxury sedan beginning with the smooth and responsive 3.5 Liter V6 engine teamed with the 5-speed automatic, driver, passenger and side SRS (air bags), fully automatic climate control featuring a factory R134a refrigerant charge, 4-wheel ABS (anti-lock brakes), factory sunroof, power windows, central locking system, power mirrors, power seats, factory alloy wheels, factory sound system, 4-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, rear window defroster, factory security system, and much more!

Service and Inspection Report:

We brought this very clean Infinity in for service and found that the vehicle had been well cared for, even though it had a few miles on it. One thing that we worked on extensively was a check engine light and fault code specific to the variable camshaft timing.

Since we specialize in Volvo and Mercedes, we sought the advice of a qualified Asian service center. They indicated that the fault code related to the timing chain and that it was probably needing replaced. We considered their advice and finally ended up replacing the entire engine with a much lower mileage vehicle of the same vintage. For us, it made better sense to replace the engine rather than to open it up and change the entire timing chain, guides and variable valve timing actuators.

Needless to say, the vehicle has had a full service including the replacement engine, new coolant and a fresh oil change. I tested this car on a 600 mile trip from Birmingham to Northeast Georgia, back to Atlanta, back to Northeast Georgia, back to Atlanta and then back to Birmingham. The car drives very well and the air conditioning kept me very comfortable even in 100 degree weather.

The rest of the vehicle looks good. It is not new, but a very nice driving Asian luxury sedan.

Finishing up, we installed new wiper blades for those summer downpours that we see here in the South!

Shop around and then ADD IT UP! Why buy one that needs work? How much will that cost you in addition to the car itself? We are offering this vehicle with an EXTENDED PAYMENT OPTION that allows you to secure this transaction and take some extra time to pay for the vehicle before taking delivery. To qualify, you must send the deposit of 20% of the vehicle price as listed in the "terms" section of the listing, followed by another 25% 30 days later, another 25% 60 days later and the balance of the vehicle at 90 days.

There is a storage fee after the first 30 days (first 30 days are at no charge) and we offer the storage up to 90 days when the balance is to be paid in full.

You can take up to 90 days to pay for the vehicle as long as you follow the payment schedule that is posted.

Absolute Satisfaction Program™:

All vehicles sold carry the Grove Automotive Group, Inc. original "ABSOLUTE SATISFACTION PROGRAM™". What this means is that when you come to get the vehicle or when you go to the shipping terminal to get your vehicle, if you are not satisfied with your purchase your purchase money is refunded. If your vehicle was shipped customer must pay return shipping charges. Shipping both ways, order processing charge and additional service work ordered are not refundable.

Vehicle Shipping:

If you would like to ship your vehicle, we will work with you to choose a shipping company. Shipping is no longer handled exclusively through DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers). Shipping charges are paid to Grove Automotive Group, Inc. who then sets up the shipping order for you. The vehicle is in your possession when we turn the vehicle over to your chosen shipping company, or their designated terminal.

Shipping times are controlled by the shipping company.

Vehicle In-Person Pickup:

Over the years, nearly 95% of all customers have either 1.) chosen to have their vehicle shipped, or 2.) picked them up over a weekend. If you choose to have your vehicle shipped, we use the terminal in Birmingham as otherwise described in the listing. If you want to pick up the vehicle, YOU MUST CHECK MY SCHEDULE AND CONFIRM SO BEFORE MAKING PLANS. Additionally, our normal pickup times are over a weekend. This is defined at 5:00 AM Central Time Saturday through 11:59 PM Central Time Sunday. If you want a delivery outside of this time, it must be prearranged – no exceptions.

As states begin to squabble over sales tax, effective January 1, 2016 vehicles sold in Alabama whose owner takes them to Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan or South Carolina are subject to a 2% Alabama tax on the price of the vehicle. Your home state will give you credit for this tax paid to Alabama so you are not paying the tax twice. Our invoice to customers in the above states will show the tax amount so you can receive that same amount as a credit when you pay your home state sales tax.
