The FX35 shares its FM (“front midship”) platform with the Nissan 350z and Infiniti G35 coupe. The engine lies behind the front axle resulting in a 52:48 front to rear weight distribution.
The Infiniti all-wheel-drive system is primarily driven by the rear wheels. It features a center differential that is electronically regulated by hydraulic pressure plates to direct up to 50% of the torque to the front wheels for exceptional cornering and launches.
Upon approach, the vehicle adjusts the mirrors, seat, and steering column to the profile for Intelligent key #1 or #2.
The (VSC) switch disables the vehicle stability control system completely.
Damages:
There is a light door ding on the drivers side below the handle.
The passenger side rear door occasionally fails to unlock remotely.
One wheel was curbed at low speed and shows minor scrapes.
The driver's seat left side bolster leather is torn.
Service notes: (Bergstrom Infiniti)
Oil changes were performed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles without exception.
In 2010 the dashboard, headlights, and headlight fixtures were replaced under an Infiniti extended warranty.
In 2014 the Navigation Maps were updated by the Infiniti Dealership.
In 2014 the front struts and sway bar links were replaced, as well as both rear control arm bushings and wheel bearings.
In 2015 four (4) Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus tires were installed brand new. They are covered by an 80,000 tread wear warranty. Damages, balancing, rotations, and nitrogen air are covered by Costco for the life of the tire.
In 2016 a new Duracell Truck Battery was installed and the main and accessory engine belts were replaced.
The wheel alignment is perfect.
