2002 Isuzu Axiom 4 door Description

This 2002 Isuzu Axiom feels brand new with road miles on it. I would not think twice to driving it to New York and back to Tampa. I bought it brand new ( I'm the only owner) in 2003 and have been mostly the only driver. I live 8.2 miles (round trip) from University of South Florida and bought this for my transportation needs to go to the school when I retired. I'm 70 years old now and the first 5 years I used it for transportation to get my degree. It took me 5 years to get that degree as I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. After graduating I worked part time (as I've been retired for several years) for Walgreens delivering drugs on a 9 store route. You'd be amazed just how many new friends you get when folks know you deliver drugs. Not important now. I did that job for 14 months and used this Isuzu as my driver vehicle.
It's a wonderful vehicle and a super driving vehicle. The miles are all road miles and I know that if this were a Ford or Chevy it would be dead by now. Their engines crap out at 150,000 miles of use.I have 2 friends that own the same car. One has 300,000 miles on hers and the other has almost 300,000 miles on his. They (like me ) haven't had any problems with their Axioms.
I do not believe that the passengers seat has been sat in more tan 10 times and the center seat never as it was always put down to haul the drugs around. Engine and tranny are good as the tranny was replaced at 90,000 miles (Under warranty) and the A/c was completely replaced at 125,000 miles. It's never been involved in an accident. Wait- Three years ago I backed up and hit a fire hydrant and cruched in the right hand side door. Geico did not fix it but to their dislike they did completely replace it. Only damage ever done to it. The door wasn't repaired- it was totally replaced.
I'd keep it but my neighborhood has me a as a little league transporter and I can only safely carry 5 others. I bought a 2006 Isuzu Ascender as it carries 7 of the youngsters and I no longer need this vehicle. other wise I'd drive it till it drops.
For the money and the condition this is a super value. It should make someone a fine vehicle for 100,00 more miles. To illustrate what a super vehicle this is- When I bought it it came with a 100% factory warranty for 10 years / 120,00 miles. No manufacturer goes that long on a warranty unless they know their product is super. With adds I paid over 30,000.00 dollars for it.
