2000 Isuzu VehiCROSS Base Sport Utility 2-Door Description

This Isuzu VehiCROSS is a true survivor when it comes to a VehiCROSS. It is an AWD TOD "TORQUE ON DEMAND" with an Automatic Transmission and has a 3.5 Liter V6 engine with ONLY 60,500 Original Miles. It is loaded with features, Power Windows that go up and down fully and smoothly unlike most other VehiCROSSes. It is a very common issue that the windows have trouble going fully up and down on these. It has an aftermarket stereo with remote, CD and auxiliary jack for your smartphone or audio device. It also has keyless entry, cold A/C with Auto Temperature Control, 4wd High and Low, Winter and Power Mode buttons, Heated/Power Mirrors, Cruise Control, Rear Defrost.
The VehiCROSS was only produced in 1999, 2000 & 2001. There were only approx. 4100 total produced in those three years, with only 386 of those with this color combination of Kaiser Silver Metallic and the Black/Grey interior. I purchased this VehiCROSS from the original owner. It's been well maintained and lovingly driven. It has NEVER been off road. Title is free and clear. I have the Original Window Sticker and Owners Manual that come with it. Mechanically this runs and drives perfect. Tires are Brand New, with less than 200 miles, I went with slightly over-sized for that extra cool stance/look. The transmission feels like you just drove it off the lot. All electronics work. Spare tire has never been used, nor have the jack or tools, everything is there. The leather seats still feel comfortable and look great. No rips or tears anywhere, just minimal normal wear. It also has the original front floor mats that hardly show any wear. The paint still shines very nice. No major scratches or dents anywhere, just minor wear and tear you would see on a 17 year old vehicle.
The plastic cladding still has close to it's original color. There are some scratches/scuffs as shown in the pics but it's not faded like most other VX's (only near the gas cap). The chrome rims are not peeling as with most VehiCROSSes. The chrome still looks great. They are the original "OEM" 18 inch rims. It also has locking lug nuts with wheel lock key included.
It recently had a full service done. New Brakes, Oil Change, Filters Changed, Greased, etc. The hood insert has been Plastidipped (Due to fading).
Nothing is ever 100% perfect on a 17 year old vehicle, especially the VehiCROSSes, so here are some descriptive details/issues on it:
It has the usual VehiCROSS rust underneath but it's not rotted thru anywhere. It's mostly surface rust. You can see that it was undercoated at one time.It has a newer exhaust/muffler.The front bumper "support" was removed due to rust. It's a non-essential item as far as appearance goes and a very common issue.It has the usual VehiCROSS issue with the fuel tank seal. It leaks if you fill it up all the way with fuel. I have been putting approx. 1/2 to 3/4 tank in (approx. 10 gals) each time it's empty and it hasn't leaked at all.The check engine light just came on. I stopped at AutoZone and had the code read. It showed the code for the driver's side rear O2 sensor (P0137). I purchased the sensor but haven't had a chance to swap it out yet. It will go with the sale if I don't get around to replacing it before then.It may need a rubber door seal on the driver's side as I can hear/feel wind getting in while traveling at higher speeds. I'm not sure if that is another common issue with these or not. I'm just trying to be as descriptive as possible due to the fact that someone may be purchasing it and having it shipped.And the last "issues" with it are the driver side interior grab handle is cracked (cosmetic only, works fine) and the seat levers on both seats have the plastic forward tilt levers missing.
Again, most of the above "issues" are not a big deal but I like to be overly descriptive.
Of course, as with any used vehicle, the Vehicross is being sold "as is" without any implied warranty or guarantee. Remember it is a 2000, so it's not going to be in Showroom Condition. It is definitely a true survivor and was not abused for the last 17 years. I prefer a local pickup, but if shipped, shipping will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will physically assist with meeting the driver/transport company to make sure it gets loaded and safely on its way, but any and all shipping costs are the purchasers responsibility.
