1962 Jaguar E-Type Description

This is one of the best restoration projects you can find,there's no rusty body to deal with or running up and down looking for parts-the car is all rust free and completely complete.
All that is needed to get the car running is some light mechanical work as follows briefly;
- The carburettors on the engine are stuck so will need to be rebuilt, the engine runs but will also need attention overall.- The fuel system will need over-haul - I advise a new pump and re-running the fuel lines.- The fuel tank will need clearing as it has some residues in it.- Full hydraulic over-haul will be needed as the brakes and clutch have not been accessed for some time.- Floors and sills will need attention.- Re-trimming the car is also advised.-Plus other minor things expected on a car that has been sitting for long.

The car still equipped with the original MOSS gearbox is an all numbers matching all original example delivered New to Jaguar Cars New York and only recently re imported into the UK after some years off-road in the US.
