A wonderful and original British racing green graces the exterior of this XK8 with a tan convertible top and biscuit interior. The interior is in lovely condition and there is no wear or tear to be seen anywhere in the front seats, back seats, and even the trunk space has been kept in pristine condition. The convertible top lifts up into place easily with the push of a button, and then drops right back into place with another, no hesitation or any other issues. There are some small markings on the convertible top fabric which I have pictured. Very minor, this could probably be re-dyed as the material is in very good condition. The body of the car is without dents and there is no signs of paint chipping or any touch-up anywhere. All windows are nice and clear and work well. It sits upon 17" wheels that are in excellent condition. The front tires are in good shape, but I would recommend replacing the two rears.

Thekey-lessremote works great. All the gauges indicate correctly showing good oil pressure and it runs at a nice even temperature, no sign of overheating. The interior electrical all seems to be working nicely including the front seat heaters, however the passenger seat does not recline, and probably needs a new switch. The AC is ice cold and functional. The radio/cassette player sounds great and this car also comes equipped with a CD player in the trunk that has six slides to input your favorite CD's.The XK8 also comes equipped with a state of the art radar detector.

The engine starts easily on the first turn of the key and settles down to a smooth idle with a nice healthy purr from the exhaust. The engine compartment is tidy and very clean, no sign of any oil leaks.This XK8 accelerates with ease - as soon as you put your foot down on the pedal it wants to go, and it is just fantastic. The brakes are great and when stopping the car pulls up nice and straight. No vibration through the steering, the suspension is tight, the ride is so smooth that it's easy to forget your driving a car at all. I guess that's because you're not just driving any car, you're driving a luxury sports car that has been designed elegantly by Jaguar with the electrical innovations and reliability of a Ford. Truly the best of both worlds.

This XK8 has been serviced regularly and maintained to the highest standard. The owner has been extremely diligent in keeping all service records dating back to the early 2000's. This XK8 has had some minor body work as you would expect on a car of this age, but it has been done immaculately as seen in the pictures. Rest assured you are bidding on a very well cared for XK8 and no expense has been spared. The chain tensioners, starter motor, thermostat tower, thermostat, wheel bearings, drive belt, and idler and belt tensioner have all been replaced.
