2001 Jaguar XJ8 Description

Up for sale is an amazing 2001 Jaguar XJ8. This Jaguar has recently undergone all needed service and repairs totaling circa $4k. All service records and warranties will be transferred to the new owner. If you are in the market for a Jaguar Sedan, please ensure that the vehicle you purchase has undergone similar repairs and maintenance as this example has. Otherwise, you will be spending a great deal of time and money to get the Jaguar up to spec. In addition, if the vehicles description isn't as clear as this, you may be missing something!

This Jaguar XJ8 has recently received the following repairs and maintenance;

With all needed maintenance and repairs addressed, this Jaguar is a smooth and reliable driver. With the ABS and Traction Control systems maintained, the Sport mode feature works great and she accelerates very quickly when needed. For those of you familiar with this vehicle, when dialed into spec, you can easily leave traffic behind you in a matter of seconds. The oil pressure and coolant temperature are perfect and the vehicle performs well both in hot and cold climates. The front suspension is all new and near new excluding the front shocks, which should be replaced in 5k miles. The rear suspension is great and the rear shocks are newer. The rear differential is recently serviced and leak free. The transmission has been recently serviced and is leak free. The AC and heat function extremely well!

The front and rear heated seats all work as they should. All of the gauges, lights, and instruments, function as they should. The sunroof works properly and the headliner is nice. The rear seats are in good condition with a few minor scuffs that can be treated. The front seats are fully powered and function as they should. The front seat material shows signs of use for their age and could be re-dyed or replaced with new seat covers. The wood veneer is in good shape and only shows minor ware with no fading. The dash pad is in great condition as are all of the door panels. All of the power windows function properly. The tint is a good contrast with the vehicle and is in good condition excluding a minor blemish on the rear window. The rear defrost is immediate and works amazingly. The carpet is in good shape with very minor ware. The floor mats should be replaced with upgraded weather mats to protect the carpet.

The exterior paint is the factory Grey and is original. This car has never been repainted and looks amazing for its age. There are a few minor scratches from driving, as you would except for her age and original paint. A majority of the scratches can be buffed out and are currently hardly noticeable. The only noticeable paint blemishes are on the rear bumper area as shown in the pictures. The rear bumper could be repainted at your local touch up shop for circa $225. The clear coat looks good on the vehicle excluding the sunroof lid that shows some fading. The sunroof lid only needs to be scuffed and re-cleared. The undercarriage is rust free and extremely solid. The passenger side rocker bottom shows minor surface rust a couple inches wide. This surface rust spot is not a rust bubble or cancer, but minor recent surface rust from where factory undercoating rubbed away as shown in the pictures. The chrome and the stainless look great and polish nicely. All 4 rims look great with little to no imperfections, with brand new tires. The vehicles weather stripping is all in great condition. The bonnet and boot struts work great also.
